Drinking Water Boil Order Lifted

The City of Devils Lake boil order has been lifted as of 4:00 PM, Wednesday, February 19th, 2025. The public notice can be found below. Also listed is a link to the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality's website with information regarding what to do following the boil order.

Past Information - Boil Order No Longer Effective

Drinking Water Boil Order

Due to a water break caused by cold weather, the City of Devils Lake lost water pressure to the drinking water distribution system. Due to the potential of disease-causing organisms entering the water supply, a Drinking Water Boil Order has been issued on February 17th, 2025 until further notice. The public notice can be found below and can be downloaded here. Also listed is a link to the North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality's website with information regarding boil orders. City Utility crews will be completing sampling and testing of the water supply system to ensure that the City's water supply is safe for all users. Once this is done, residents will be made aware of boil order being lifted. Any questions, contact the City of Devils Lake at 701-662-7600 Ext. 2.
