Snow Removal Parking Tickets

Ticketing will occur for failure to remove your vehicle from streets, avenues and parking lots for snow removal maintenance. Refer to the Snow Removal Schedule (link to Snow Removal Schedule to determine what days to move your vehicle. As of January 1st, 2019, winter parking tickets (November 1st to April 30th) will have an increased fee in comparison to summer parking tickets.


Sidewalk Snow Removal

Property owners are required to remove snow and ice from sidewalks and ramps adjacent to their property within 24 hours after a storm event and are required to keep the sidewalks and ramps clear of snow and ice throughout the winter. This includes snow ridges left at the ends of sidewalk ramps by snow removal equipment. The City may, without notice, remove snow and ice from sidewalks and ramps that are not cleared within the required time period. Costs associated with snow and ice removal will be assessed to the property owner.
