ARFF/Operations Assistant

The Devils Lake Regional Airport is accepting applications for a full-time position as an Airport Rescue Fire Fighter/Operations Assistant. The successful candidate must attend and pass the 40-hour Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter (ARFF) training course and the ARFF Certification Exam. Duties include: operation/maintenance of equipment for snow removal and airfield mowing, runway sign and light repairs, runway inspections, ARFF training, emergency response, building maintenance, and other duties as assigned. The successful candidate must have the physical abilities to perform the job of a Fire Fighter. Benefits include vacation and sick leave, a NDPERS retirement plan and BC/BS Health Insurance (includes vision and dental). The applicant must maintain a valid driver’s license and have a clear criminal record. Applicants may be subject to a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and background check. Salary is a City of Devils Lake Grade 9, DOE.
