Duties

The Devils Lake Police Department's mission is to provide quality service to residents and guests of Devils Lake, ensuring a safe community by protecting their constitutional rights in the most professional manner possible.

Services

The Devils Lake Police Department provides an array of different services some of which include: fingerprinting services and police services for special functions. They also issue bicycle, dog, and cat licenses and maintain the pound and the
Paws and Claws Adopt-A-Pet Program.

Paws And Claws Adopt-A-Pet

If you would be interested in adopting a dog or cat, please contact the Devils Lake Police Department at (701) 662-0700. There is no charge to adopt a pet from the pound, but you must sign a waiver stating that you will give the pet the proper rabies inoculation and spay or neuter the pet if it has not been done.
